About Me

Aloha,  my name is Celese Thompson.  I am an energetic, loving and devoted 22 year old.  I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii and moved to Victoria, BC four years ago to attend University.  Everyone thinks I'm crazy for leaving Maui, but I chose to live in Canada to gain new experiences and because I hold Canadian and American citizenship. I am expereinces and  because I hold Canadian and American citizenship.  I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Victoria in the School of Exercise Science, majoring in Recreation and Health Education.  This is a cooperative education program, which allows me to gain experience in the field of my interest. From these job placements, I have been able to enhance my competencies for my future goal of pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist.  I enjoy almost everything that has to do with being outside (hiking, swimming, tennis, running, bootcamp, etc).  I also love helping others, taking pictures, trying new things, cooking and hanging out with my family and friends.  This website highlights my personal and professional accomplishments.

“Celese was a pleasure to have in the Help Fill A Dream office.  She worked hard and was willing to do any task. Her creative ability to make videos and work on the HFAD website was invaluable.  She is a passionate and caring individual who we will miss having in the office”
